Kuan-Yi (Gary) Lee
I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NTU(Taiwan) and will be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I am deeply interested in enabling more natural and intuitive interactions between humans and AI.
My research experience includes developing foundational speech models and building agentic speech understanding systems at MediaTek Research, ASUS, and in Prof. Hung-Yi Lee’s lab.
I am also passionate about applying AI in the education sector. As a co-founder of an education technology consulting startup, I have helped multiple private education groups in Taiwan implement AI-driven problem-solving systems. In addition, I serve as a lecturer for AI courses at NTU. I enjoy teaching and exploring AI applications that create meaningful real-world impact, and I welcome opportunities to connect and exchange ideas.
